Continuing the firm’s commitment to attorney development, 15 associates attended McGuireWoods’ 2025 Diversity and Leadership Program (DALP), held Aug. 14-15, 2025, at the firm’s Washington, D.C., office. DALP equips associates who have strong performance and leadership potential at the firm with practice development lessons and next-level skills essential to accelerating career development for those on the path to partnership.
The participants included Jessica Blau, Jacob Broadway, Hannah Caison, Max Chu, Natalie Galdos, Jeffrey Holmes, Jordan LaPointe, Brooks McCoy, Reeny Philip, Lowrie Reniger, Kelby Roth, Hans Schalembier, Sapir Shoshan, Tom Siwula and Nathan Young.
The two-day program opened with welcoming remarks from partner Kenneth Neighbors, chair of McGuireWoods’ Diversity & Inclusion Committee, and Rosanna Koppelmann, senior director of talent development and diversity initiatives.
Later, partner and Diversity & Inclusion Committee Chair Ken Neighbors moderated a panel with seven partners who shared insights gathered along their career journeys and answered DALP participants’ questions.
Firm Chairman Jon Harmon addressed the participants between the two afternoon programs: “Building Deep Internal Relationships” and “Elevating Levels of Emotional Intelligence: Making Informed Decisions.”
Second-day programming opened with remarks from Managing Partner Tracy Walker, who led an interactive presentation on the principles of leadership.
