McGuireWoods sponsored the National Bar Association Commercial Law Section’s 37th Annual Corporate Counsel Conference, held Feb. 15-17, 2024, in San Antonio, Texas.
The National Bar Association is the nation’s oldest and largest global network of predominantly Black American attorneys and judges. The NBA represents the interests of approximately 67,000 lawyers, judges, law professors and law students. The annual event, hosted by the NBA’s Commercial Law Section, gives section members an opportunity to network with colleagues and with in-house corporate counsel from some of the country’s largest companies. This year’s conference theme was “Rising to the Occasion: Protecting Our Legacy.”
McGuireWoods participants included downtown Los Angeles office managing partner Tanya Greene, Atlanta associate Natalina DePina and Charlotte associate Tyra Pearson.
Greene also spoke on a Feb. 15 conference panel discussing “What’s Hot in Intellectual Property and Data Privacy: Key Developments From 2023.”
