The Secured Lender magazine named McGuireWoods partners Staci E. Rosche and Phyllis Y. Young to its annual Women in Secured Finance list, which recognizes inspiring women who exemplify excellence and have distinguished themselves in the secured finance industry.
The March 2023 issue features profiles of 65 women working for banks, law firms, consulting firms, capital providers and other organizations that belong to the Secured Finance Network, an international association of secured finance providers.
Rosche has been a member of the firm’s debt finance practice since 2001, assisting clients with acquisition finance, syndicated finance, project finance and synthetic leasing transactions. She represents lenders and sponsors in financing green energy and infrastructure projects and handles issues related to the Payroll Protection Program and Main Street Loan Program.
Young, who joined McGuireWoods in 2019, is a transactional lawyer focusing on finance, financial restructurings, mergers and acquisitions, and other corporate matters. She handles secured lending transactions, debt restructuring and complex intercreditor arrangements. Her experience also includes oil and gas, utilities and energy transition projects. Young serves as the pro bono leader for McGuireWoods’ Dallas office.
Partner Kevin A. McGinnis, chair of the firm’s Debt Finance Department, said: “Staci and Phyllis are exceptional attorneys dedicated to counseling clients on the best course of action. We’re pleased to see them recognized for their leadership in the secured finance industry.”
