McGuireWoods sponsored and attended the 17th annual Leadership Institute for Women of Color Attorneys conference held March 23-25, 2022, at The Ritz-Carlton in Atlanta, Georgia. Several attendees also joined McGuireWoods’ women lawyers for a networking event at the Atlanta Botanical Garden.
McGuireWoods lawyers who attended the conference in person included Raleigh associates Jocelyn Mallette and Ayana Brown, Richmond partner and African American Lawyers Network chair Candace A. Blydenburgh, Atlanta associates Jamilah Riddick and Natalina DePina, and Charlotte counsel Tanisha Reed. McGuireWoods was a silver-level sponsor of the conference.
Some conference attendees also participated in McGuireWoods’ March 24 women professionals networking event, held on the Longleaf Rooftop Terrace overlooking the grounds of the Atlanta Botanical Garden. Atlanta partner Cheryl Haas and counsel Elizabeth Buckley led the event, and McGuireWoods Consulting Atlanta vice presidents Lauren Greer and Katie Gregory were in attendance, in addition to current and former McGuireWoods attorneys.
