McGuireWoods London partner William Boddy has been appointed chair of the firm’s LGBTQ+ Lawyers Network, which supports lawyers and their careers within the firm and provides legal assistance to LGBTQ+ individuals and organizations in the community.

A member of McGuireWoods’ Business & Securities Litigation Department, Boddy is a risk management and litigation strategist for global corporations and financial institutions. He represents clients in international arbitrations and before UK courts in multijurisdictional cases, conducts internal corporate investigations, and provides counsel in high-stakes regulatory investigations and proceedings. Boddy advises clients on commercial and compliance matters, including professional negligence, data privacy and security, contractual obligations and directors’ duties, often in the context of insolvency. He also handles compliance with domestic and European Union regulations, including the GDPR and anticorruption laws.
