McGuireWoods held its third annual Diverse Professionals Networking Reception on Oct. 23 at the National Center for Civil and Human Rights. Nearly 40 attendees participated in this evening dedicated to networking and culture.
McGuireWoods and McGuireWoods Consulting professionals, clients and friends of the firm enjoyed networking and took self-guided tours of the museum’s impressive and often interactive exhibits. Representing McGuireWoods at the gathering were Atlanta partner and Tax & Employee Benefits Department chair Gerald Thomas, public finance partner Ken Neighbors, and commercial litigation associates Natalina DePina and Natasha Cooper.
Gerald Thomas, who has organized this event from the beginning, says it demonstrates the firm’s continuing commitment to diversity and inclusion. The intent is to promote networking among racially, ethnically diverse professionals — lawyers, real estate developers and other business people.
