Alan Chen addresses Chinese American Bar Association of Greater Chicago’s 33rd Annual Installation Ceremony.
On Oct. 23, McGuireWoods hosted the Chinese American Bar Association of Greater Chicago’s 33rd Annual Installation Ceremony, which drew about 150 attendees, including about 40 federal and state judges, to the Chicago office’s Iridium Center. McGuireWoods’ Asian Pacific Lawyers Network was a sponsor for the event.
Chicago associate Alan Chen, a board member of the Chinese American Bar Association (CABA) of Greater Chicago, fostered McGuireWoods’ involvement in this event. He also served as master of ceremonies, providing opening remarks and announcing award winners.
This is the first time the firm has partnered with CABA on an event, Chen said, but added that the firm has a history of supporting the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association, regarded as a parent organization for CABA, with a number of members common to both organizations.
